nearly!!!
to be fair though you were at least 100 yards away when he pulled out... maybe he misjudged your speed?
maybe the speed limit is wrong for the road?
just as well you weren't going too quick or not paying attention!

that couldve been a lot worse m8 & i think timing was on your side this time.... a bit further down the road you'd have hit that cos looks like he was going anyway regardless if he saw you or not. :Argue 1:

does piss me off when they pull out real slow like that though, take up 2 lanes and leave you nowhere to go....
had one turn left on me on a 250rs, saw me about 50 ft away but went for it anyway, wheelspun out over 2 lanes and my bars went thru his back 1/4 and threw me off, the bike followning me down a embankment backwards lol...
he looked at me as i flew past in mid air and then kindly drove off without stopping. wonker.
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

actually you wernt speeding were you? looked like you were doing about 60, id hand that over to the police and tell them you want him done for driving without due care, maybe if more cage drivers were done for doing things like that the roads would be a bit safer for all of us

I'm not being funny mate but exceeding or maintaining the speed limit past a junction with a car sticking out is a recipe for disaster. He probably didn't see you past the two cars. You can kinda see that on the vid at 10 secs. I can be a knob on the road for sure but I always slow down when passing junctions with cars sticking out and make sure they have seen me. Then I can freely wheelie past without interference. I was told "It's no good it being someone elses fault when your dead"

I'd have been easing off on the way down through those bends towards the junction. With the volume of traffic on coming and the drop in the road it's 6 of one and half a dozen of the other. He obviously did'nt see you on the approach as AMQ says-not saying that's an excuse for pulling out as he did. Put it down to experience-at least your alive

I agree with the comments of most, although it is a 60 limit he probably looked in your direction first, then check right...all clear go....oh wombles where did that bike come from. If there is a junction with a vehicle on it I slow regardless. You did well to haul the Storm up in a controlled fashion mate  Stay safe buddy :cool2

Thanks for the comments, but I was fully aware of the situation (used to A holes like that) I had shut the throttle to slow down in case of a pull out, and generally I never go where I cant stop, which I proved there......its the kids I feel sorry for withoutt the skills or experience. They are gonna have to do better than that to kill me. :D

Oooh..... decent stop. From about 65?
That looks almost identical to a local road/junction and it's one where I can expect this to happen. It often does.
I'm thinking 'That car on the junction is waiting for a queue to pass so he can pull out to turn right (likely already impatient and possibly hesitant judging the type of car) so he'll possibly creep it out after that queue has passed. Slow up to 40, look for the whites in their eyes and pull left of the lane passing through, just in case'. Like a sixth sense as it were, that thought process just kicks in. It is hard to explain.

Just another typical event out of which you emerged just a wee bit wiser but more importantly, upright. Cool.
