what band/music would a firestorm be?

Post by Buckers »

Here's a light hearted one for friday night.

I was listening to the ipod on the ride to work this morning. It was on shuffle, and as a random 1 in some 15,000 tracks on comes War Pigs by the original Black Sabbath line up.

Given my storm is in that fastest of all colours (black).... it seemed very appropriate. Listen to the riff / guitar tone - if ever the storms were a band, it would be the sabbath

Death and hatred to mankind
Poisoning their brainwashed minds
Oh lord yeah!

Any other suggestions?

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Great question. I gave serious thought to suggesting a track out of my mass of heavy bottom end albums (from Zep, Deep Purple, Whitesnake, Ozzy, Halen, Rush and up to the Irons, Tallica, Linkin Park, Nickelback, Alice in Chains, Foo Fighters, Saliva, Papa Roach, Disturbed) and nothing comes to mind as a perfect fit. I decided on the first track of Saliva's 'Blood Stained Love Story' album, Ladies and Gentleman :)

Do you want it?
Do you need it?
Let me hear it.....

I'd probably feel different about it tomorrow.

No matter, heavy it must be with a kankerously driven bottom end rythmn: Tama/Zildjians battered with rock knoockers and a Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder equipped hipshotted Fender Precision Bass driving an SVT through 2 2x18 Ampeg bins. Monster.

Heavy Metal. :Rock1:
Starts with a R. Rrrrrrrr. Motorbike!

Brilliant Paul

I would go with Mikes Thunderstruck by AC/DC, but the lyrics (read them which way you like  ) in this one are pretty much spot-on for me

Not Thunderstruck please - my iPhone always starts it's playlists with that (in the car it always turns shuffle off)

I've reached the point that I will have to delete it!

Depends on the colour-

"Yellow" by Coldplay has a great grungie intro chord or two- then lets you down after a while, and leaves you quite depressed.
(I'm thinking CCT's here)

How about "The Birdie song" for the Teal ones?

(that should get a few posts    )
