Try a flip screen, I'm an average height 5' 10" and the first thing I noticed during a test ride was that the stock screen was rubbish for high speeds - bought this immediately (a decade ago) from IIRC M&P

Hi, some advice please, Is it me or do double bubbles namely airblade ones cause the wind to be directed straight at your helmet? I changed back to the standard screen and although less protected from tit level to chin I felt the ride was easier than the buffetting i was getting with the Airblast..sorry...Airblade, Now the question is, is there an option of a higher screen? Not talking Hardly Worthitson Full dresser protection, just something that gives an extra 3 inches (stop laffing at the back) protection.

I have a double bubble on mine [not sure what make], and with my new Shoei helmet I now have a really bad buffeting problem at 3 figure speeds........makes it hard to focus on the road with your head being punched about! Clearly the aerodynamics of both and my 6ft 3" height leads of a bad interaction, and I have to crouch down to stop the vibration.....which is literally a pain in the neck!.

SO reading that you have a similar issue makes me think about trying alternative screens.....as The helmet is top of the range race kit, I was assuming it has good high speed stability, and if I lift my head above the screen blast it is all OK
I may try the standard Honda screen next year to see if the buffeting is gone, then look for other alternatives....tell us what you end up with as I may copy your solution.

ive got a fabbri on mine atm which is a bit taller than my airblade (and thicker)
can't say the buffeting is bad at all really, but as you know i never exceed 70mph.
i wear shoei like amcq - one of the reasons i bought it was because they were windtunnel designed to improve the noise level and stability at high speed.
if i use my nolan i'm like a fkin nodding dog

fitting rearsets helped too as it changed the position a bit so i am leaning a bit further forward.
the standard riding position is a bit sit-up-and-beg and is a bit uncomfortable & tiring at 120+ imo.

im 6ft8 and have found an easy fix,

When approaching 125mph, put it in top gear and then lie on the seat and tank with legs off the back. Thus enabling you to get right down behind the screen with no effect on the helmet.

in answer to your questions, dont know how i fit buts it why i got a storm in the first place, a lot roomier than a blade etc.

i cant get my knee down as it sits right next to the handle bar

i can ride the pillion seat with ease if i want to stretch out

i had a go of a mates cbr600, i tried to get behind the screen but my head was directly over the screen and could look at the headlight

the wind speed doesnt effect me, when your this tall it can be quite windy at head height whilst you midgets feel a mild breeze, therefore my neck muscles somewhat resemble adonis.
