It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

you can just about get at them without taking the clocks off but its easier if you do, it's only 3 bolts!
just tug out the rubber plug and pop a new bulb in.
the fuel light is not so easy as it's an led soldered onto the pcb of the tacho.
involves dismantling the instrument cluster and a bit of soldering.

i think you need to check for loose wires first, especially on the ring connectors on the end of the wires that screw onto the cluster underneath as they are prone to corrosion.
the wire from the fuel led looks like brown & black but can't tell cos ive had 4 caffreys lol - could be the one on its own or any of the 3 that screw to the tacho.
(can you tell ive got a set of clocks in front of me lol!)

also check the main plug to the instruments is secure - unplug & plug back in.
is the battery fully charged>????

i can understand you losing a bulb but not the fuel light???
btw if the fuel sender plug is undone at the back of the tank the light will be on all the time so you can rule that out.
could be the float is sticking inside the tank?
avoid taking the sender out from underneath the tank unless you really have to - it Will leak when you refit it!
maybe give it a wiggle with a piece of wire from the filler hole first?

oh, if that fails, check the r/r isn't blown and stuffing like 19v into the wiring! 8O
