Brass Monkeys - frozen balls competition

Post by benny hedges »

Seeing as winter is well & truly here....
as seen elsewhere, how about a Frozen Balls Competition.

rules are simple - photograph your bike next to a thermometer of some sort to show the temperature.
like outside some petrol stations they have a big digital display saying like -3c .
maybe list some locations with thermometers?

lowest temp rider wins

dunno what you win like... probably just some hardcore respect lol

maybe let it run til the weather warms up in spring.... see who the proper bikers are!

just to put things int perspective - here's last winter's winner from minnesota, Rambler with -13f which equates to a perishing -25c

coldest for me last year was on top of saddleworth at -5c but no thermometer pic so doesn't count!

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

I'll have to see if the thermo below is still on tomorrow morning.

http://maps.google.co.uk/?ie=UTF8&ll=50 ... 3,,1,-3.46

It'll be dark and it'll be my phone so probably crappy pic.

If I remember that is.
