Been looking at one of these on ebay as a cheap(£35!!) alternative to a Power Commander.
The write up reads good, but thats as I'd expect.
Has anyone here got any information or expereince of them??

Re: NITRO X FUEL COMMANDER
all it does is make the engine think it's cooler than it is, so the ecu advances the timing & if FI richens the mixture slightly as though it were choked.
you can get the same effect by soldering a pot across the temp probe in the rad.
be my guest - try it lol.
and post back here when you've holed a piston!
there are loads of devices like this, like the £3 superchips for cars... all they are is a resistor thet goes across the maf sensor, makes the engine think more air is flowing so it squirts more juice.
the way to get power isnt by artificially enrching the mixture otherwise we'd all be riding round with the choke on!

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
Re: NITRO X FUEL COMMANDER
Rich running shouldn't hole a piston, surely- that's lean running wot does that (don't ask how I know, or how well a Honda single runs with a 5mm hole in the piston).
But a switchable resistor in the circuit would be useful to compliment the nitrous injectors, adding more fuel as you hit the button.....shame mine's carbs.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
Re: NITRO X FUEL COMMANDER
I would stick with the PC3 mate, you don't want to trash an engine messing about with fuelling. You aren't going to hole a piston unless you lean it out so much that the whole engine starts detonating. To be safe you could get one and start it off rich and lean it out in stages. When you get about 125 miles to a tank you have reached the richness/leaness of a standard bike with a PC3. Just a thought but i buckled and just bought a PC3 brand new for £265 from SPR Racing - a great service all round.
Re: NITRO X FUEL COMMANDER
Thanks guys for all your comments.
For now I'm going to put it back to standard air filter and cans. Then wait till I can afford a proper PC.
[Although, even living down in Wiltshire, its too bloody cold to do anything bike wise at the moment.]
