Hello,
Can anyone point me to where I can buy some mirror extenders?
I only seem to be able to find some from Taiwan for £50!
Anyone got any 2nd hand ones? Or does anyone make their own and sell them?
Thanks Steve

Re: Mirror extenders
i got some off a member here and can recommend them - they do make a big difference to reat view as i can see past my shoulders now.
they also seem to damp out vibration too cos the mirrors are rock steady even at high speeds, no vibration blurring.
just shop around m8 - i've seen them on ebay now & then for £35.
worth it tho.

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Steve,
I have just ordered some off a guy in USA for £22.50. They have not arrived yet so cannot comment but if you go on ebay and look for - redlunaracing you can see for yourself he has loads for different bikes.
Cheers Phil

Re: Mirror extenders
hi Phil,
Before I saw your post I decided to have a gamble on them too. I hate buying from overseas - hope they arrive.
Anyone else wants some here's the link;

Re: Mirror extenders
Have some R1 mirrors on mine as advised on this forum, they're about 2" wider and a bit lower. I think it's a big improvement and you can pick them up on Eblag about the same price as spacers.

Theres A Hare in The Turnips.
Re: Mirror extenders
I looked on ebay at R1 mirrors and the only ones i could find for reasonable money were pattern parts - and sometimes the quality is less than desirable with ebay seller pattern parts so I decided to gamble on the USA sellers extenders.
For a pair of good 2nd hand R1 mirrors your looking at over £50! Suppose it's a sellers market though, as they always get trashed in a spill.........
Thanks anyway, Steve

Re: Mirror extenders
Great news Phil, I had my ebay email to say mine are in the post and another email from the US postal Service to say they are conveying it - so all looks good.
Cheers for the post letting me know you got yours, gives me faith!
