Quick trip to the UK to see the folks - Find out Dad’s garage is still full of lovely polishing stuff…
Riding my new (to me) 98 Firestorm on the roads I learned to ride on back in the day…
Life is sweet…
Happy springtime, everyone!

Yesterday TBH... Spent some time removing old bearings from multiple shock linkcage components.

borowed this from Andy next door...

Image

Went well up to a point...One Triangle bracket decided not to play ball stuborn rusty bearing shells decided that 10 tons wasnt enough so the bracket bent first...Binned...

One dog arm split before the bearings even moved... 8O

I now have 3 sets sans bearings to spruce up & re bearing...

Also gave Nue Red its pre MOT check up as in today @ 10 o/c...

''Also gave Nue Red its pre MOT check up as in today @ 10 o/c...''

What I didnt do was fit me big plate on...

Didnt pass as plate incorect letter size...

Anoying but he's just doing his job & wants to keep it.

Another Bike MOT site just round the corner is on a suspension for some infraction of the rules...

Take it back in next week free retest with the big plate.

That's making my front tyre look almost bald :shh:

Mind you, looking at that tyre it appears to have a lot more thread depth to start with :eh:

You're lucky you haven't yet caught my addiction to Pirelli Supercorsa 3s as yet.
It's them or a holiday every time they need renewing...

But as I point out to the budgetholder, cheaper than new plastics...
