Robert.... that would cost money!!! … I am tight!

I had the wheel, the discs and a set of disc spacers left over from the RSV4 front end conversion on the firestorm, so they are free.

so far it has cost me:
2 bearings at £20 each
2 seals at £6 each
200mm of steel tube £14
2 extra disc spacers at £10 each
extra set of KTM wheel spacers £20
front mudguard off a 990SMT at £30

the biggest cost to test out the idea will be the tyre, but that will be the same size as the VTR uses, so it will get used no mater what.

if I like the conversion I will then get the ABS rings made and also buy a new TPMS to fit, if not I will sell the bits

After giving it a good once over and servicing front and rear brake callipers and fitting new pads all round Cruella passed it’s mot with no advisories. It’s not the prettiest condition wise but at least now it’s road worthy. ImageImage

Well done in getting the mot Duffy.
It's looking a lot better than it was as I remember

Looks just the job that Duffy lad. I fitted some Oxford handlebar mitts/muffs to the XSR, might keep some the of cold, wet wind off on the M23. Hoping the combination with my heated grips will save me spending on new gloves as my Spada ones are on the edge of being too lightweight to ride through winter 70 miles a day.

Cheers Mav. I prefer handle bar muffs to heated grips personally as they are better for stopping the wind chill, but they look a bit ugly

Spent more money on it. I don't seem to be able to help myself at the moment. They were an utter bargain though.

played around with different risers and my old fazer ones seem the best so far as they are fairly low and pull back a bit. i would post some pics but it's just too complicated for the average thick bloke. you'll just have to imagine it
