Fixed! Made some brackets from aluminium sheet. Taillight is now rigidly mounted to the subframe... I will no longer fall victim to Honda's stupid-ass design....

Are you still running standard bulbs? If so, check them regularly, they won't last as long with the light mounted rigidly.

I'm running an LED taillight, been for years now. As for the mount, it's semi-rigid as the rubber "bushings" are still in place. The difference is that I am no longer relying on these useless, flimsy mounts in the tail cowl for support.

Prescott bike festival.

The butchered classic group were there in force as well as some strange machinery, and an ex moriwaki race VTR.
Image

As we walked the paddoc there was 2 Ducati V4S panagali’s both with the left clipon snapped off, asked what happened and it turned out a Morgan 3 wheeler had turned a bit tight and knocked the one over and it dominoes the 2nd one Image.
I didn’t photo that as it was a sad sight.

Some other photos for you
