Yesterday my youngest and I went on our first ride together as he passed his cbt last week and took delivery of his new 125 .
Took him out early 6am did a steady 100 miles around the Cotswolds and back home . He learnt a lot especially riding down the lanes is more fun than city riding .
Told him next time we go for a ride it’ll be a fish and chip run .
Then I told him from the seaside ,he shat him self lololool .
I said to him there’s more to bikes then commuting .
He already wants a bigger bike but he will have to wait as he’s only 17 .

Today I fitted a mcct to the blade as it started ticking last week , so much easier on a il4 than the storm 😂.

Nice one Lloydie nice to introduce youngsters to the fun of bikes rather than just a commuting tool

Nice one Lloydie, good for a youngster to have someone with your experience to show him the ropes,

Chris.

Well it was actually yesterday but I'm a bit slow :shh:

Removed the rear peg hangers and fitted the seat hump. Mostly using the Suzuki for two-up riding

Looking very clean and tidy 8)

Yesterday I gave the Firestorm an oil and filter change after having a good ride-out first :D

When I went to remove both front and rear spark plugs the rear plug came looking like this
I wonder if this could be a Chinese copy, although I have been aware of this when buying them.

Has anyone else come across this happening on a NGK spark plug :?:

Nice one Lloydie, hope he had fun. Get him to do some off road biking to help improve his skills, or a track day :)

Chris.
Seen this quite a few times through my workshop, usually knock off plugs, always buy from a reputable known seller is best advice for anyone, that runs for most things as well though.

I'm glad it's not just me then :)
I do try to buy from reputable known seller for that very reason, but these must have slipped through somehow. The knock off's must be getting harder to spot

Thanks for your reply Malc
