No connection to this company/individual. Just spotted it on eBay and thought a good idea so................... thought I'd pass on the info! Would work with any bike or car I guess.

Neat idea for battery monitoring
"Only ride as fast as your guardian angel can fly" !!!
Re: Neat idea for battery monitoring
Looks a good (and cheap) mod which may just give you enough early warning of a reg/rec failure, except that when a RR fails it usually outputs 20v or so.
What you need is another warning sign (flashes quickly?) to let you know that volts go over 16v.
Still, might be a good idea if you plug lots of heated stuff into your bike.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Almost a good idea
Only shows that you're charging or not charging, doesn't show over charging. And with Honda rectumfries being what they are, that would be a better thing to monitor. Better off with something like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TIM-Superdash-12v ... 1c125e07df I'm sure someone on here has a gauge fitted to their bike.LED Solid Green @ over 12.8v (so no flashing when riding)
LED Flashes Green @ 12.3v - 12.8v
LED Flashes Red @ once below 12.3v
Rich.

Re: Neat idea for battery monitoring
I have the Acumen combined voltmeter/digital gear indicator fitted.
Not too tricky, less than £100 delivered.
If you want to get one I've posted the fitting and wiring instructions in the Workshop Knowledgebase.
