stuck in hospital

Post by sonofpat1969 »

Hi all . I am fairly new to this forum. With just one post. I've had my Storm for about a year
Having had a moroni 500 before that. Quite a shock when I first grabbed a handful of throttle :o
Anyways I am now feeling sorry for myself. With gaul bladder and pancreous infection. On morphine and tramadol. Looking forward to getting back on the bike. Been here since Sunday night.
Anyone else had gaulbladder problems.? Nice cheery thread I know...

Get well soon mate. Have a read of the jokes thread and cheer yourself up. Or take a look on the workshop and plan what you are going to do to the storm when you are mended. All the best fella

Watch out if you eat cream cakes or ice cream

I feel for you. I got my hip resurfacing coming up on the 11th April and specialist has informed me I will be bed riddedn for 2 days laid flat on my back and wont be allowed out of bed full stop.
Plus when I get home , I will still have to lay on my back for at least 3 months.
Keep taking the pain killers and dream of summer when you can get back out on the bike. I wont be able to ride again for at least a year accordingto the specalist.

And thanks again to everyone else. It'd certainly helped. Should be out tomorrow then scan in a couple of weeks and if all is ok gall bladder out in couple of months.

Sonofpat1969, good news you're meant to be going home today  My wife had to have her gall bladder removed, she said that was a lot less painful having that done than what she had suffered from the stones in it.

Pariah, It sounds like a long job I know, but if it can get you back to some sort of normality health-wise it'll surely be worth it in the long-run. Good luck with it all.

Chris.
