hi all.
can someone tell me would changing the fork oil make a difference to the front at all, i cant afford to change springs at the moment but thought i'd change the oil in them, if so how much oil and whats the best one as there's a few different ones on the workshop bits.

10w 1l freash oil makes a big difference 130mm air gap i beleave

Not worth doing if you're going to change the springs within a few months, unless you have real problems with the front end.
Best done with seals, and on a higher mileage bike, slider bearings top and bottom as well.
While you're there, head bearings are only a couple of bolts away, might as well do the whole job at one go.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
