does anyone know of a longer side stand for the storm, since putting the spacers on the shock the bike leans over further on the stand than i do at roundabouts

Re: side stand
I've put more in my shock than you have and mine seems fine lol
I don't suppose you have you thought about welding on an extra bit of metal to the bottom of the side stand to compensate for the difference in height. Will save you finding one that fits etc

Re: side stand
yeah thought about it mate but my welder was nicked last year and i'd rather do it myself than pay someone, also looking at second hand stands on fleabay it could be cheaper to buy one than have it welded mateSnoogle wrote:I've put more in my shock than you have and mine seems fine lol

Re: side stand
Don't make it too much longer, I had a Hornet a while back and whenever you got a rear wheel puncture it would sink down at the back, the side stand would then push it gently over off balance on to its RH side.
Three times it did that, once onto a parked car.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
