British Superbikes at Oulton Park

Post by alan g »

We went to see the British superbikes meeting at Oulton park last week; some nice weather and nice bikes.
It’s not very good there for the photographs, you can’t get close enough and they had put lost of advertising billboards in the way! But here are a couple of shots I like. Cant beat the smell of 2 stroke!

i was there meself, with cheeky kev from here and a load more loonies... had a great time.
depends where you spectate for taking pics, and the type of camera you have.
we saw some mental crashes including brookse's aerial escapade... the 125s were bonkers.... them young lads dont care about points, they just all want to win.
result = carnage at every bend lol great entertainment though.
the only injury really was tommy hill with a dented shoulder.

whereabouts were you???? we were all over the park, changing specs between races.
post up next time you're out & we'll meet up :D
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

I live near to Congleton, about the same distance as you from Oulton.

This bike was drawing some looks.

Photbucket tells me it was 1/500 of a sec but I think it was slower than that.

The bikes are moving fast at that point of the track (almost at the finish line)
here is one more from the same spot.
