Insurance for mods...

Post by MacKrell17 »

Where's the best place to get insurance for a modified VTR?

Mine should be back on the road in the next couple of weeks but with a few mods. It was off the road to have a respray but I got side tracked by discussions on here about improving the handling :D ..... when it goes back on the road it will have had fitted:

Braced swing arm
Revalved and sprung forks (lowered by 10mm)
Ohlins rear shock and spring
Blue Flame pipes

along with the usual mods;
Braided brake lines
Manual CCTs
Fairing Lowers (although these are a bit battered)
15 tooth front sprocket

After all that she still hasn't had a respray so looks tatty as with blue fairings and tank, british racing green lowers and a black seat unit. Respray will have to wait until winter when I have restacked the bank account :thumbup:

Anyway insurance suggestions welcomed :)
