sweet as a nut when cold but a fairly heavy 'annoying' ticking/tapping when hot or up to temp. ccts maybe or valve clearences???

most likely valve clearances if it gets louder when hot.

warning - a dealer will charge 300+ for shim service, and probably only need to change 2.
something you can easily do in half a day assuming you have a box of shims to hand - i recommend a hotcams shim set 9.82mm diameter for about 70 quid. (300 asst shims)
now that may sound like a lot but you have all the shims you could possibly need and dont need to wait to order them.
and save about Â£250!
