Oulton Park BSB Qualifying Day

Post by alan g »

We had another good day at Oulton Park. The rain that spoiled the race day kept away for the qualifying.

If you don't mind lads I will show a few of the pictures from the day:

And this flew over a few times.

For some reason, the photos are not displaying fully on my screen, can everyone else see them OK?

The Harley s look very slow compared to everything else, including the 125's

But they do bounce well.

the harley race was mental... there was only 5 finished out of the full grid lol... they either fell off or blew up!

they do look a really awkward machine... not a racer by any means.
yes i know there is a race series for them but tbh you could have a race series for cg125s if you wanted
i usually time the laps on my fone and the harleys were doing 1.54 - 1.47 which is slower than the 600s but a bit quicker than the 125s.
the current record stands at 1.34 by kiyo last year 8O

do yourself a favour... get on there in fast group and try & break 2.00
how they can knock over 20 secs off that is beyond me but that's why they are out there doing it & we're watching!

did you get the 125 crashes??? there was loads off as usual!
the best place for binnage is down at shaw, you get the hairpin at the bottom, then the chicane, then the wheelies over the crest up the hill
