Hello all

Just bought and tested a windjammer

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290614115919? ... 1439.l2649

Been out and tried it and I reckon it makes a huge difference

I also use earplugs from Moldex that cost 10p each and are throw away

Definitely a recommendation

for that price I will try one............I get a lot of "booming" type wind noise on my Shoie, and it gets so loud at speed that I cant hear the race pipes for the wind noise!

you should buy an original shoei and not one of those chinese knock off shoie ones thats why our wind noise is so bad...........

more times that you can imagine!!.............followed that process, took it to a specialist dealer [had to re do it as he left too many gaps!], but there is no difference if I set it like the book, or if I have 1mm gap. I even taped over all the visor edges.........I can confirm it is not the Visor :D

Best solution is ear plugs. as previously mentioned, at 10p a pair, Moldex are great

You can also vary the amount of sound reduction you need by how far they are inserted

The windjammer I found to make the roar of the wind much quieter

Hope you do too Amcq

prefer a balaclava meself, cuts out just enough noise to protect my ears but not enough to remove what is an essential safety feature :)

I have had one for a while and recently just fitted it to my Shark vision R.
Rode home with the Shark and felt somewhat naked and noisey without it but once fitted along with my speakers etc it felt much better and I could hear my music properly again. If the wind noise gets too loud then I turn up the volume to compensate.

Has anyone else noticed!
When i sit up the noise is what you'd expect but when i get down behind the screen it gets a lot more noisey. No I am not going faster or reving higher, it just seems there is more noise down there, maybe it is engine noises reverberating or something.
