help!!!
I'd rather be riding my motorcycle thinking about God than sitting in church thinking about my motorcycle.
Re: help!!!
is that the same battery that was on the bike when the first R/R failed? - if so then that is more than likely knackered.

Re: help!!!
you also have to worry about the connectors and the ends of the loom when you have an R/R fail.....they will get cooked and damaged. if they have high resistance now, they will still cause a problem with the new R/R.
look for any discoluration of teh termainals or heat damage on the insulation

Re: help!!!
Start simple first- Is it the same battery as fitted when the R/R went into meltdown?

Re: help!!!
Try another r/r, it is not unknown for them to fail again, and if it is not that you need to be looking into the alternator

Re: help!!!
But check the spade connectors in the connecting blocks- they need to be nice and clean, an fitting tightly in order to carry that current.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
