year end Forum awards

like the sports personality of the year [and all those other programs] I think we should have an awards ceremony for the Forum just for our own amusement.

if we can decide the award categories in this thread and then get nominations for the members who should be in the running for each, then we can run a poll to vote the winners.

some suggestions for the awards subjects to get us started:

1) the most prolific poster [the forum statistics should decide that one]
2) the most pointless subject........like the yellow vs blue vs black who is the fastest gay.
3) the most blinged storm
4) the most helpfull member [providing free bits, advice etc]
5) New member of the year......who joined in 2011 and has made the best contribution
6) lifetime achievement award........for services to firestorm
7) most grumpy member

best on bike vid
9) best crash of 2011.......
10) best rebuild of 2011
11) slowest project build [this is for BSM

]

you see where I am going, just for fun, no subjects that are built to upset

make your suggestions for categories from now till monday night, then I will pick the 10 I like best and then we will have till friday to get the nominations then we will have a poll to pick a winner for each category.

I think your 10/11 choices are spot on.

Only suggest change no.2 to Dumbest post Award 2011.

Possibly add Best Socks 2011?

i did think about best fashion error, that can cover the socks, dogging jackets, paddock jackets, t-shirts from wales as well ast those VTR thongs that I wear to work
