Flywheel / Alternator Cover

Post by seb421 »

I'm looking for the main bolt / screw

tried to get mine undone today and its a total bloody mess now, had to take the cover off to turn the engine

had it off the other day, put grease on it, put it back not to tight, tried to undo it and oh my what a pigs ear.

I'm thinking it was about 24C in the garage other day when i was working on it with heaters on, when i tried to take it off this morning it was about 7C in the garage

could that be why it wouldn't budge?

Any one know or have a link to replacement or after market bolts for these.

thanks, and merry Christmas

That would be the larger of the two inspection caps.
David Silvers or Wemoto, I'm afraid.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
