Leathers

Post by Kev L »

I went down to the George White (Plymouth) outlet store today, tempted by the promise of massive savings and vast choice, as I am looking for a decent set of one-piece leathers to replace my now ageing suit.
Just for the record their range isn't vast, in so much as when I asked what they had to fit me my options were, err, nothing.
I am 6'4" tall and 18st so not unreasonably large like YETI & BSM who take these things to extremes!
I have tickets to the Excel show at the end Jan/Feb but does anyone know of anywhere selling decent leathers at a good price?
By the way if anyone is looking for BKS one or two piece suits red/black or blue/black GW's have them reduced to £199 if you fit in them.
Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero
F3, 954 USD front, K Tech springs, Braced swinger, Ohlins shock, Six spoke Mockesini wheels, Harris rearsets, QaT, Flywheel diet!, A&L stacks, stick coils, K&N, FP Ti jets, Mori pipe's [colour]

you cheeky bugger...
i've been looking at made to measure but you won't get much change from a bag of sand, there are plenty of firms willing to do them tho, not surprising at that cost

j&s were doing bks, alpinestars etc at nec for 199 8O
m8 bought a white 1 piece bks and its fkin stunning quality. normal price is about 700!
they were selling textile & leather tops for £30 lol but biggest size i saw was 42
the only one i saw that i liked was a genuine honda black & red jacket but in a 40
shame as i'd have loved that for riding the sp.

i need to replace mine as well soon, not due to age but for some reason the jacket has shrunk a bit recently.
it's always been tight as thats how i wanted it, and i could only ever wear base & tee shirt under it or its too tight on my forearms....
lately i cant even slip my spare visor under it lol! :Beer Popcorn:

have you not thought about having a set custom made yeti???? or just get your old ones spruced up with a clean & patch up.
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
