Color?

I have found me a -97 VTR that I'm hopefully will buy in the not so far future (fingers crossed I get my drumkit sold).
Now, I'm gonna respray it but I cant decide wich color to go for...
White like bennys, pearl white like snoggles, plain silver or,
a silver that is so bright it almost turns white.
What do you guys think?

By the way, I'm going to put a Pyramid fairing on it, a hugger in the same color, a mirrorlike db screen, polished high mount exhaust just so you get some indication on which way I'm going.

And I have to respray it since it's in that slow p€#s yellow color now.

Get your self a new set of fairings from ebay mate.

might test fit mine shortly, just waiting for the bird to get round and brew up.

cheaper than a re-spray and you can get a full set of white plastics too mate

also they come with a double bubble screen too, so that's a saving there too.

if you want some graphics putting on just ask them and they can do it for you, i got the front fender swapped over no issues

Well, ya know, the respraying will be done by myself, so... The only cost there, will be the paint and lacquer.
Dont really want to spend money on new fairings anyway. Besides, I still got to respray the tank and back fairing.

Also, there's a poorly done, halfnaked lady airbrushed on the tank. I reckon the mrs won't be so happy with the family jewels rubbing against that. Even if it's only an airbrushed woman.

As for decals, I'm not sure. I'm thinking about letting an airbrush artist spray the logos in a black chrome effect.
But that is if my budget holds.

Black = remember the JPS F1 cars in the 70's
Red = well, honda racing red, Ferrari
Blue = Williams F1
Silver = mercedes/ mclaren racing

i was very close to painting mine white like bh but i think it only looks good against a black frame, i was very impressed with snoogles colour as well, but in the end i decided on the original candy tahitian blue of the later firestorms, the same colour was used on the vfr800/fireblade/hornet and so on, i think it looks modern.
out of the colours you have short listed, i would go for a silver of some sort, maybe with a nice black moriwaki style bellypan.............it just so happens i have one for sale aswell

my vote would be for silver or white with black belly pan, yellow is nice but it's a proper pain to spray been a yellow pearl over white, I seriously thinking doing mine white as it's proving difficult to get the yellow right after repairing a damaged panel.
