Hi All

Post by VTRLichtie »

Hi Folks
Thought it was about time I joined in. I have been reading this forum for a wee while now. I have been biking since I was 16 if a Puch Maxi counts! Been through the usual SS50, RD200, RD400 etc before having a Commando for a long time. Bought the Storm (Blue) about 4 years ago and love it. Just not getting to put enough miles on it but hopefully that will change.
As some of you might be able to tell from my username I live up near Arbroath on the East Coast of Scotland.

Hello mate and welcome to the forum. Have you had a read through the previous posts yet to make sure all the required fixes have been done?
Good to see you have had the good sense to buy a bike in the best colour (it's not TEAL is it?).

Thanks for the welcome.

In reply to the questions, no it isn't teal it's a blue F3 so it has the finned reg-rec. I need to do something about the CCT's but not sure whether to try the stopper mod or fit a pair of manuals.
And no, the Puch Maxi was the N model. Single speed and a rigid back end. 25mph flat out. Used to out-accelerate my mates Honda PC50 but he had me for top speed :)
