Your Planned Mods for the year

Post by seb421 »

This year i hope to get a;

Braced Swing arm made up and fitted

New bar end's

Wheels Painted Repsol Orange

Rear set's either the generic universal ones off ebay, still look a lot better than stock, or get some gillels or Harris items

Racing Mesh put in a few places i have spied out

HID Projector housing fitted into storm's headlight

And get a steering damper to go with the clamp i bought for one.

Might do stick coil's not 100% yet on them.

That's my plan to have finished come December time

my go!

i want to brace the swingarm with uber overkill as in belt and braces......

forks will be modded as per link in the workshop with hyperpro springs and polished then anodised gold fork lowers

decent calipers and braided hoses, stubby black levers,

uprate all the brarings on it to SKF bearings or honda genuines if SKF dont make them

black race fuel cap

paint and laquer both engine cases and rocker covers.

CCTs

i want to borrow a set of GILES rearsets so i can model them up in 3D cad and have my mate make me a few sets,

correct the sticker position

fit bellypan

maybe a race seat with foam pad

maybe make an ally rear subframe

lightened flywheel

decent clutch and springs

job done

i might powder coat the frame and wheels
i may also paint the engine because it looks rough with the paint flaking off it.
i'd like to get some big bore ti link pipes made up.
i'll also wait until winter before fitting the superchips module.
and finally if i have the money, i'd like to get some engine work done, i'd love to get near the 155/120 bhp mark.
hopefully next month i'll be getting the bike dyno'd, i'm not sure what to expect, i was hoping for 105+ but you never know

I will have to get back to you on this, I need to think about it. There's loads of mods I want to do over time. Not gonna get it done in a year though

This year for sure:
RR (done)
CCT's *should be doing next week)
High Rise Exhaust + New Cans (Just got some Arata's that need modding to fit) (done)
Dynojet Kit
LED Indicators (not led but done)
Grips & Bar Ends (done)
Braided Hoses (not sure which yet, goodridge or hel)
Possible Lightened Flywheel
Maybe new bars
(unless I wait until I either upgrade vtr forks/springs or do front end/fork conversion)
A few carbon bit's and pieces/bling

Mmmm I will add to list as I think of things.
i want to borrow a set of GILES rearsets so i can model them up in 3D cad and have my mate make me a few sets,
Oooo Yeh :erection: What CAD Software are you using?
