Post by SuperWheelie996 »

The top speed is listed as 155mph , but i have had mine past that, on the spedo, is that possible ? Ive had mine to 165mph

Consider this......... at 150mph you travel the length of a football field in one second 8)
Things get a bit vibrated at more than 135, can't see a friggin thing with the vibration in the helmet with the turbulence!

im gettn a friggn tank camera, I did it once with my camcorder, i duct taped the sucker on to the tank , so you could see the spedo , and i got it on camera at 140mph , and ive been well past that since , I wouldnt advise the duct taping method either , it took me an hour to get all the residue off and shine my tank back up, but i found some great little tank and helmet cams on line , im gonna have to get one and see whats up

when the 17 Ft sprocket, i reach 280 on the clock (280/1.7=165mph).
Now with the 15 ft sprocket i reach 280 on the clock with the tpm in the red line limite (9500rd/min). but with the 15 the clock is up sthan the standard clock from 6.25% it give 265km/h = 155mph.

I prefer my bike able to do 155mph and accelerating more and quickly to the read line in 6 than a bik eable to do 165...

But looking at these numbers, it seems that there are no many diffrences between superhawks and VTR1000 (in reply from an other subject...)

blackbirds and storms

Post by STEVESTORM »

I had 177 8O out of a ' :?: 97 Blackbird with a passenger on the back and speed was verified by my friend the pink rabbit in his F40 alongside.

My storm is more fun as I can leave nearly everything at the lights up to 90ish - is it my imagination or does a storm accelerated quicker than a 'Bird?
