the most important thing to do with any secondhand front wheel, is to make sure its straight and true, most front wheels from bikes 10yrs old and over will have had a hard life. only once your sure its straight should you paint/powder coat it.
just ask tony and many others i'm sure....

Trust me it is RAC orange, it would clash with the red of my strom and cause a colour faux pas which just would not do. One must maintain standards.
