What was your bike before the storm?

Post by scott02464 »

And did you prefer it to the storm?

I had a 600 Bandit for about a month before the storm.

Had an 2001 R6 before that but got banned so sold it!

I swapped a GSX1100F for the Storm. Perfectly capable bike and in excellent condition but it just didn`t float my boat.
Best thing I ever did.

Had a Yam FZR750R before the Storm and a good few bikes before that, however I have never had a bike before which I have "connected with" like the Storm. The performance and handling are enough for my needs and it makes me happy just looking at it. Lot's of cheapish upgrades available and attainable and of course you lot giving sound advice and chuckles. Can't beat it.

Still got my previous bike FZS600 fazer and before that a crazy modified CB1 import I wrote off, and I have had quite a few other bikes over the years before that.

Fazer is still in bits at the moment waiting for it's new engine to go in. :)

I had a Morini 500 sport, lovely bike but got fed up with it not starting, and not that quick

Some nice bikes and love the pic of the cbr lloydie.

It's strange cos I often get tempted by another bike R1/SP's etc but when I think about it I don't think I could better it all round!

Like what's already been said, Iv bonded with this one!

I know what you mean and there is something about having a storm and this forum. They go together like the perfect marriage.

Surely this state of Nirvana is a myth? You are more likely to find a Pheonix farm or take a unicorn ride than finding anyone who would claim that!!!
Got to go the Mrs just walked in!

NTV650 v twin. But the difference is that I only had to shut the throttle twice on the way to work.....
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

yamaha xt600e.good fun bike but the gearbox was becoming crap with only 10000 on it. not really quick enough on big roads and a bit too big for off road.
