Just had a ride out after putting the bike back together

...........Wow!! Those new fork springs work a treat

Super smooth and goes round corners on rails

Well done done Flatty. :thumbup: all you need now is a coerce brace to stiffen them up a bit. Did you use the Gold valve kit as well? I bet it feels good to back out on the road.

yes it does, although I tottered around for the first few miles waiting for the front wheel or something to fall off :lol: :lol: :lol:

All I have changed are the springs to K-Tech to match my weight, they are not progressive ones

Used 7.5 oil

Didn't bother to change the seals or anything

What is surprising is that I haven't even played around with the settings and it feels planted

Flattie, BigVeeGrin fitted K-Tech weight related springs to his Storm yesterday and needed to cut the standard spacer down, by 10mm on each leg, to be able to get the correct static sag. Good luck.

Sounds good mate. For some reason I thought you fitted Racetech springs, that why I was wondering about the valves. You did grind the rod to a taper as suggested by Sir Roger D though. :thumbup:

glad to hear you are back on the road mate ,sounds as though the handlings sorted ,if you fancy testing it,i'm going to squires on wendsday night about 6-30 ,i know some belting roads near sherburn just 10 mins away,if you fancy a run see you there cheerz adyf

It's ramadan at the moment, keeps me busy and off the bike, but only til mid August :D
