180 rear section?
HI ALL<
Can anyone tell me if a 190 rear will fit my storm, if so are there any benifits from fitting one or would it be better to stick with the 180?

I Agree Vtrick
Did exactly the same on my RF900
Slowed flick ability, and when it was worn, ie flat on the bottom, it kept following all the cambers and white lines. Did give a little better grip coming out of corners but not enough to make it a "must" fitment. Didn't give any better mileage either.
Not that fussed for it really, shant bother trying it on the storm

If you're old 180 tyre is fairly worn you'll probably not notice much difference when you put the new 190 on.
However, if you the go back to a 180 you'll be amazed at how quicker it turns.
The differences with a 190 are:
1. Looks fatter - big Richard syndrome!!
2. A bit more rubber on the road when leant over A BIT
3. Less rubber on the road when leant over a lot
4. May foul hugger
Overall you're better off sticking to the 180
