Never used a camera, too worried about it falling into the wrong hands should anything untoward occur!

I can see the attraction fella, and it's a sad reflection on my paranoia that I shy away from them. The films that Geo makes and publishes on here are entertaining enough.

Same...also I would rather be riding it than watching it.

But that said, I do enjoy Geodude's Op storm compilations when he does them!

My new bike shows your max speed on the digital display. I don't like that, I'm not a hooligan but a quick, safe overtake can hit quite a speed even if you're usually sticking to the limits - could be taken out of context.

Always fancied a camera mounted though - would probably be great to review your ride afterwards and see exactly how it was, rather than what you thought it was :o

they can be a bit deceptive, when watching some of mine back I think "fu*k I never got through that gap did I" but in reality the mirrors were never near touching

I use a Drift HD The last Op Storm was filmed with it. Its a great camera. Go Pro HD is going to be my next camera though. Much better mounting options and a also great quality cam. I don't worry about the footage although memory cards are cheap ;) I tend not to film the speedo but that's about it.

I started filming during the IAM process so I could watch back my riding and see how sh1t it was. I soon realised that actually, the camera wasn't as useful as I had hoped. The reason being that it can't see as far ahead as you can nor does it have peripheral vision. It's not a true reflection of whats going on around you. It was useful for positioning though.

I now film rides so I can keep a video log of my riding antics. I especially like filming the Op Storm runs as they are great fun. I actually do the vids for me but its great to know that others enjoy them too

PS. I still have more of the last op storm to do but my PC is playing up. Waiting for the new one to arrive :)

Before getting a camera you want to ask yourself what are you going to do with the footage.

 When it's on you PC what you gonna do with it. You can have some fun if you get into editing the footage. You could make a kickboxing fitness DVD  No seriously though it's not just a case of buying a camera and filming something. If you want to make something a bit special you need to edit the footage and make something of it. Otherwise you are just watching random footage with lots of, for want of a better word rubbish. There will be shaky stuff, bit's that are irrelevant to to the subject you are filming, background noise etc etc.

Have you posted my stuff yet? My bike crying out for a clean.
