Did your mate drop the shock into Hagons?
i left it with him on saturday kev, he hasn't emailed me yet, he found the reciept which shows the shock was bought over a year ago, but its only been on the bike 6 mths and has done less than 2000 miles, so i'm hoping it will get sorted by hagon for free, if not i will be very pissed off, when i think it cost £380 and only lasted 6 mths, i reckon a seal has blown making it spill its guts, not sure if thats a easy fix for them tho, and then i'm not sure if i have confidence in the shock once its repaired, lets see what happens...Kev L wrote:I think we have created a monster Marty! it is pretty bad failure for a shock to blow a seal and dump its oil [on the wheel!] at such a low milage, so they should take it seriously and give you a full explanation on the failure mode, the repair they will do and why it wont happen again.bigspanishmarty wrote:i'm not sure if i have confidence in the shock once its repaired, lets see what happens...
