Clutch Reservoir Am I missing something?
Clutch Reservoir Am I missing something?
Is there something missing off my clutch reservoir? Looks like something ought to go here but isn't there!

That is normal for a metal clip which screws into that nut and folds over onto the cap. Not sure my firestorm has one but I know my old sv had one on the brake reservoir. Just a safety thing to stop the cap in screwing.
Re: Clutch Reservoir Am I missing something?
Yup, what Chris said
A safety clip to stop the local knobs tapering with it

Yep it's mine. Not in the best of condition I know. One day I will get around to changing both the clutch and brake reservoirs. It's not leaking as far as I'm aware, there's a good seal on the cap. It's just the outside. Don't forget that is a macro shot that is going to show every detail.hope that one aint yours carl

I thought the same lloydie, given that it should be close to transparent, that reservoir is pretty badly aged!

Have a look at Rizoma's range, they are on my "to do" list....
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
Re: Clutch Reservoir Am I missing something?
Argh funny you should mention them. I was trying to find the link to them in my bookmarks last night but could not remember the company name.
If I am going to replace it, it will be with something a bit bling. Brake will get done as well. Price for a new plastic Honda one is about £25
I'm not paying that for a bit of plastic.
