0-60

Post by T8ull »

My 10 year old asked how quick a firestorm gets from 0-60, watching Top Gear with this Bentley doing it in 4 point something seconds for an obscene price tag.

Never timed it myself!

There is some Jap website that did run offs on a 1/4 mile strip back in 2003, (on you tube) the vtr beat a blade and an r1 over a q4 mile, it was at that time the 9th fastest over a q4 mile proddy bike in the world. I am happy to ride it. :D

If i recall correctly it did it in 10.1.
She told me she was 16.

i remember reading years ago in some publication that at its time of release in 1997 the firestorm was the fastest accelerating mass production bike cant remember if that was over a quarter mile or 0-60 tho, if there was any truth behind that i don't know but i did read it.

Either way any well ridden bike 600cc and over will really piss off 911, TVR, ferrari, aston martin and bentley drivers on the right road. they may be as quick but they ait getting away! :cool2

they can sit there in 100K cars but can still only go as quick as the fiesta in front! we can filter!!

Haha. Very true ;P even restricted I can manage it sub 4 seconds at 180 degrees of throttle. That's probably why they always try to block us filtering I reckon

It's a good little vid that. I like the way as soon as you accelerate all we see is the sky. then as you slow down we get to see a bit of road.
