Kevin Ash

Post by Kev L »

Just read on visordown that Kevin Ash was killed this week whilst testing a BMW in South Africa -

Shame, he was a good journo. I didn't alway agree with his views but his in depth articles in MCN were interesting and with a good depth of knowledge I hadn't seen since John Robinson died a good few years ago.
RIP fella.

Yes, he had a great knowledge, I enjoyed his articles, and he seemed a good guy.
Wife and 3 kids too , sad.
"Once, asked to introduce Erin Baker, now the Telegraph’s Head of Motoring, to motorcycles, he selected what was then the world’s most powerful bike. With his passenger on pillion, he reached 156mph on the M11."
Some guy, very good obituaries.

I remember him from FastBikes and have been following his Internet project as well. Very sad. RIP

I suppose that he died doing what he enjoyed, though that is little comfort for his family.
Two bikes, still only four cylinders!
