Can you still adjust the front suspension easily or do the bars get in the way?

Looks smart.. 8)

Post by tony.wilde1 »

im guessing here but i think about 4"..also that amount further back.but th eway th ewires are situated the only one i had to add 2"to was the horn wires.all the others reach even the clutch hose!!just had to get 2"longer brake hoses.ive got the bits i trimmed off the fairing too..ill try and get a pic of them so you can see how much to cut off if you or anyone go ahead and do what ive done.cheers!

Looks like the next job I'll be doing on my storm, can't stick the lack of comfort much longer.

Today I road to Tony's house, played on his storm with the Rethnals fitted for about 10 mins. What a great riding position.
I had better start counting my penies.

People often like a second oppinion before they do somthing. Well mine is 'all the fun of a storm, but with comfort'

Thanks Tony for letting me have a play>

Looks like choice of bars has a big bearing on how much you need to chop the fairing. I had to cut mine right up to the mirror mounting holes to clear my mx renthals.

Picked up a bellypan today so stage two starts this week where we add some colour to the beast! A healthy dose of bright yellow should do the trick.
