Don't care if the foetus has one they will always be special to me

if you want exotica that once cost a bomb and now can be had for little money you can get a Benelli Tornado TRE brand new for bugger all

loads of them left, 900cc tripple that sounds wombles awesome! 130 -140+ bhp

The ones to look out for is the TRE 900 (or 903) RS Model, and the Tornado Novocento LE (limited edition)

you can pick up a Brand New TRE 900 for £6000 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Benelli-Torna ... 1e6a412ca6

and some nearly new used ones for a few grand!

http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_odkw= ... sacat=9800

the early model bikes had some teething troubles but these was soon ironed out so don't be put off them from what you read

I am not a lover of the Benelli Tornado. Can't understand what the designers were thinking when the drew up the back end. Possible got confused with a Submarine. FUGLY...

Aerodynamics mate less resistance at the front meant it could push through the air with less resistance, the back end houses the radiator and two fans to exhaust the heat

You mean Justin Bieber is no longer cool. that if he was ever cool to begin with.

I like both the MV Augusta and those ones you posted Seb. I even like the shape of the rear faring. I'm not sure they would be very reliable bike though and part I expect would not be cheap. :(

6k for a TRE 900, brand new, that's a fraction of what they used to be! The newer bikes had the earlier fuel injection problems sorted out mate

MV's will always be a crazy price tho shame as I'd love an MVF4

Price is only one of the problems, to get the best out of an MV you really do need to ride the butt off of them or they're horrible apparently.. I guess it's an acquired taste  I've never liked the headlights and stuff of them

To me it's one of the most beautiful bikes ever put on the planet!

RE the ride I dint think I'd mind, if you wanted to race anything you would be working the butt out of it anyway.

I would just enjoy them for what they are and the pleasure it would give me owning one.

Get to some bike meets in the summer there is usually one or two kicking about at the hot spots, in the flesh you can't help but go wow!

Bloody are mate, 6 grand brand new bike with two year warranty! Can't argue with that

The LE model was all carbon fibre, carbon fibre tank the lot. The RS had more power and radial brakes and other upgraded parts. The standard one takes some beating tho for 6 grand new, nice to have something that's not just another Blade or R1 as well

love that Benelli - does make you wonder though what the on costs would be, given it has Ohlins, Brembo, Ti can, were any corners cut? Some design touches are interesting - under seat rads to aid the streamlining for one. If they were a limited run, they can't have sold to be knocking around at that price, so are Benelli as a company on a life support system and like many brands of the past about to keel over, again!?

If you had a spare £6k kicking around and wanted something different that worked, well I guess it fits the bill perfectly, the red and black one does it for me.

The just didn't sell mate, a few years ago they was high prices like ducati. The 900 was replaced with a larger capacity model and there is a surplus of 900's left that was never registered hence the bargains to be had on them, if I could I would and Yeh I like the Red and black too
