Just a quick one, does anyone know how much fork oil firestorms take?
Cheers

Re: Fork oil
Just as a word of warning, When I did mine and the old oil was black as, so I decided to strip the forks and was glad I did, they were full of gunk. I don't think it had ever been done. It may be worth stripping the forks on a bike of this age if it's not been done in the past few years and check the bushes etc.
Re: Fork oil
I'd recommend 7.5 weight oil of good quality and set a 140mm air gap with the spring out and the leg closed down (i.e. collapsed to its shortest length).
145mm if your'e under 12 stone.
That's with aftermarket springs,
Haynes has the std settings for std springs.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
