Meta alarms
Meta alarms
Anyone know where I can get wiring diagrams for their bike alarms?
Two bikes, still only four cylinders!

Re: Meta alarms
Contact the manufacturer/supplier. Though they might not be keen to dish out the info for security reasons,
...Meta alarm's wires are all black with colour coded ends (these coloured ends are removed when fitting the alarm) so the only way the red wire is connected to the alarm is if someone's fitted something else - such as a secondary siren - or grafted a piece of red wire onto the end of one of the alarm wires..

Re: Meta alarms
You are right - can't get them from Meta. I removed the M351 from the Storm a few years ago after it stopped working and immobilised the bike. The TDM has a M357 which I think is a little more tricky to remove, though I guess just following the wires back to the loom and re-soldering the loom back and shrinkwrapping should be all I need to do.

Re: Meta alarms
I searched for ages trying to find a meta wiring diagram with no luck. Like you say just re trace the wiring. You may have to re-join the ignition circuit if it's been cut and spliced. As for the rest of it, it should be straight forward. I have the 351 on mine and I know it's only a matter of time before it leaves me stranded one day.
