The 2005 models have always been the best of the GSXR's. I don't think they will ever beat it to be honest. Yeah ok the new 600 is a fantastic bike but the 05 models are still far better. I would like to have the pleasure of riding one on day but for now I shall stick to the storm :lol: nothing will ever come close to that!

very good read - especially the long distance capabilities

one thing to note, there is something the K5 has in common to Storms according to the author - witness his very last comment "Just don’t buy a yellow one."
