hi All i am having trouble sending private messages!!! i reply to them but they dont always send!! can somebody put me straight please? Many thanks Paul.

The message is marked in your outbox until the message is read by the recipient. Either they haven't logged in to see their messages or their inbox is full.

Yeah ..as said above I was puzzled at first .. but it all depends on the recipient
of the message.. he has to read it before it goes from you...even though
you completed and sent.. it stays there.. and if he cant ..well it stays till he does

And don't forget the Rules, folders and settings button just under the sent messages. You can set up how you want the older messages dealt with. Whether you wont full manual control over deleting messages or have the system automatically delete the oldest posts as new ones come in.
The inbox can fill reasonably quickly so I usually have it set to automatically delete the oldest post, I then know I wont have any problems with newer PMs getting through.
