Re: Spraying rads
i've used different types of spray, but the best by far is frosts/eastwood rad paint, very easy to use and a great finish, plus one can will do a lot, the downside is it ain't cheap....gloss and satin finish...

Re: Spraying rads
Anyone got any advice on drying times between coats and number of coats? Got a can of the Eastwood rad paint but there's nothing to advise on the can or the Frost website. I've got two radiators, grills and the oil cooler to do.
Re: Spraying rads
Sure it was on the can when I did mine, I'll check & get back to you...things to do & wheels to change might be some time.freeridenick wrote:Anyone got any advice on drying times between coats and number of coats? Re: Spraying rads
Nope nothing on the can re drying time just the advice to use two fine coats & allow to dry between.
If IIRC it was quite warm when I did mine so I didn't have a coat on.
So sprayed the rad's & just let them dry for a couple of hours & gave it a second coat.

Re: Spraying rads
Thanks for that. Think I'll test on the oil cooler and see what it comes out like. Less visible is I stuff it up.MacV2 wrote:Nope nothing on the can re drying time just the advice to use two fine coats & allow to dry between.
