How to remove the front wheel?

Post by Bink »

Do I need special tools to remove the front wheel?
Just got Diablo's off the web and want to bring in the wheels to a local garage to get them fitted. They charge too much to remove the wheels (that is if the will do it in the first place) so prefer to do it myself.

Thx!

One company - the Dublin Tyre Company - would charge €80 8O
(that's £52,-) for taking off the wheels, fitting the tyres, balancing & re-fitting the wheels...

Thanks for letting me know - Was a nightmare when I did it on my zx6-r last. We were ½ way through when we noticed we needed a special tool for it! :x

Thx for the warning RQ.
