Some of our members have said the Sales and Wants section rule's need changing.

I think it's a good change, only problem is would people actually do it? Could you add a tag function to the post, where you have to select a radio button or whatever to show which option your post is regarding? Then it could be displayed seperate to the title, and you wouldn't be able to post without selecting an option?

Leave it as it is.

Why be anal and make things complicated. If you want to know things about the item which the advert does not tell you post a reply.

After all it is a forum, which is a place to discuss things. Why should we not do this in the sales and wants section.

Maybe we should start charging a fee for the use of the for sale section. How about a percentage of the final sale cost donated to me and Sirch?

I've gone option 1. It's easy to put for sale or wanted in the title, or you could even separate the two and have a for sale section and a wanted section. Location should be in your profile so everyone can see it on your posts. Price, yeah you could message someone but you might not want to, you might initially be thinking about it and maybe not go further so don't want to send a PM. when your selling something you have an idea of price so post it, if your really not sure then ask peoples opinions in general section. Have a mod to look after the sales sections who can delete posts with no price, it's not being harsh just fair, putting a price up in your advert is more helpfull than not.

i would like people to state in the title of the post whether its sales or wants.
i'd also like them to post their location, not bothered about price, that can be delt with via a pm.
i just think any considerate person would state sale/want and location, because they're only going to have to anwser that question anyway. i think the poster is being lazy....
glad i'm not monitoring it....

I think price and location are important, I want to know if I want it, can I afford it and can I pick it up or will it cost the kings random to post it.

Iv'e gone option 1 although I don't think adding location is so important. As for it being complicated, it's hardly complicated simply adding a bit of extra text to a subject line.

Separate 'For sale' and 'wanted' subsections please.
