Nitrogen filling?

Any of you had your bike tyres filled with nitrogen?

theyre meant to hold pressure for months, true?

its only 1.25 per tyre at ATS by me so think i might go to get mine filled there

Those are the only two uses I've ever known it to actually have, I think they're both very acceptable :lol:

I do, but only because it's already in my garage and I do not do enough shocks in a year to use even 1/16 of my 210 cubic foot tank of nitrogen .. So it's there, it's paid for, and filling it every other year is a $30 deal.. no extra drive as Im trading out Co2,Argon,C25 tanks every few months anyway.

I do not have a high dollar air drier on my compressor, and i know the air it produces is wet even after a cheapo coalescing filter... so using the dry nitrogen is a simple , easy way to fill tires with a known stable gas.

The no pressure loss pin valve used for shock valves also allows for precise filling of the tires with no air loss when removing the chuck.

Reality is..... I doubt it makes a difference. But it aint hurting anything either.

what pressure do you guys fill to, honda suggested ones or the tyre specific suggested ones?
