Why didn't you just cut down the original and fit over the top mate?

i didn't feel the construction of that aftermarket one adequate to carry the tools without worrying going over a speed bump and them cracking the plastic so just did the cut down and place over method plus keeps the ECU / CDI where it was

You can acually make a nice box in there out of sheet metal. Mine can carry a 4 foot kryptonite chain and huge armored padlock, plus tools.

Well observed that man...

Actually it is a battery box. I wanted to do something custom and not just "it'll do!".
Note also the Ecu and other electrickery are mounted on a custom cross member.
Also 2 small spigots welded on underside of subframe to locate the undertray better. Fits pretty well.
Will powder coat in winter.

As for tools they can go in the side pod. I tend to carry a small backpack anyway.

Sen my undertray doesn't have the little triangle plate holder at the back like yours.
I originally cut the tray in half then thought sod it I'll make a battery box.

I like your work, but would be concerned about the jarring shockwaves now going directly to the ecu/black box. Those things are isolated from solid frame members for a very specific engineering reason.

Seems like their lives will be shortened by an order of magnitude (approx). So I guess dont stray too far from home

They are mounted as standard in rubber cases on plastic pegs on the standard undertray. Mine are still in the rubber cases and are still 'suspended'.
If anything mine are mounted better because the standard ones are stacked...
