I currently have high level link pipes fitted but I'm bored of the look. Is there any link pipes I could use to get more of an sp 'upswept' look to them?
I have contacted quill exhausts and they said they could make some link pipes up for me but I was just wondering if there was any off the shelf link pipes I could use instead.
Could I just spin these around maybe?

steve. you will also need to get some hanging brackets made up, lloydie is about to do this, maybe he could help you out....
i much prefer the upswept look, if i can get some s/s ones made up for my two brothers system i might be tempted, i wish i hadn't sold those upswept brackets now....

Steve no one makes link pipes designed for the upswept look on the Storm unless they are custom made. SP links are the wrong angle into the header pipe as the left link is a 45 degree bend rather than 90. Unfortunately it's all a bit trial and error. Even Lloydies don't have the upswept look of an SP as they are angled less and follow the line along the bottom of his fairing.

Steve you can turn normal link pipes to get this angle but you will need to remove the lower brackets from the link pipes and make or buy new hangers .

After market race cans(art) and matching link pipes rotated and lifted to get the angle .fabiostar wrote:lloydie wrote:

Ah. Thanks a lot Lloydie. That's just what I'm after. I'll try and get hold of some standard link pipes or see if quill can make theres longer so the can finishes at the end of the bike.
