RESPRAY DONE

Hi Guys, I'm finally back from holiday and I couldnt wait to re-build the bike after its respray, the strip down and rebuild were frightningly uneventful for me. I have added LED rear lamp with build in indicators, small carbon indicators front and rear, indicator buzzers because I just cant remember to turn the bloody things off, a smoked screen and a trickle charge adaptor.I did the rebuild in a calm and precice manner and all went well a few mods were required but all were done with no real hassle and after the bike was finished I went indoors and got changed into my leathers to go for a much antisipated blast, all the neighbors were out having a look and commenting on the bike when I walk out onto the drive in full regalia and jumped on the bike only to find it would not start, embarrassing was not the word, after many attemps the onlookers thankfully started to drift away and I'm sure I heard some mutter the word "shame" a couple of times, anyway the battery started to die so I slinked back into the garage and if i had a tail it would have been between my legs. I could not figure out what I had done I checked all I had touched and searched the bike for a wire or something that I had failed to reconnect, no luck there, then I remembered the electrical connection to the tank was broken and the wires were a loose fitting so certain that this was the problem I stripped the connectors of and replaced all of them. No this did not work either, but while I was in the area of the elecrical plug I spotted an outlet on the underneath of the tank with no hose on it, after a little bit of poking around I found the small bore hose tucked by the cam cover breather.
After many attempt to connect this hose I could not get it to fit so with much trepidation I decided to take the tank of and I am so glad I did because the outlet I was trying to connect the pipe to was the wrong one, it needed to go one the one behinfd it which i could not see with the tank on. Anyway I attached the hose to this outlet and the bike started first time, well to say I was a happy bunny is an understatement.
With the much antisipated blast of about 50 miles completed I checked all the fitting for tightness and then gave her a polish.
Here she is....

well done fella, another custard disgrace removed from the face of the earth.......
replaced by the beautiful blueness.....
imho, get some original late model fairing decals for it, it just tidy's the bike up. I must admit i'm not a lover of aftermarket decals, rarely do they look good or better than standard.
keep up the good work dude...
